Day-to-Day Usage: Connecting, Transacting, and Advanced Features
Once installed, Trezor Bridge operates silently in the background as “trezord” (or “trezord-go” on Linux), making your hardware wallet visible to Trezor Suite and any Bridge-enabled browser sessions. To initiate a session, simply plug your Trezor device into a USB port, unlock it with your PIN, and open https://suite.trezor.io or launch the desktop app. The Bridge will auto-detect the device, prompting you to enter your PIN and any passphrase set for a hidden wallet. From here, you can send, receive, buy, sell, and swap thousands of cryptocurrencies, all while Bridge handles the low-level communication in a secure, sandboxed process . Advanced users can also leverage raw transaction broadcasting: sign transactions offline and then use RAW send functionality to push your signed data directly to the network without ever exposing sensitive details on an internet-connected machine.
